Mario Party Superstars Collects Boards and Minigames From Past Mario Party Games

June 15, 2021

Mario Party Superstars will bring together some of the series’ classic boards and over 100 minigames when it launches on Nintendo Switch on October 29th. The collection was announced during the E3 2021 Nintendo Direct presentation on Tuesday.

Part new game, part remaster, Superstars will bring back five classic Mario Party boards from the N64 games, bringing them more in line with recent Mario Party releases. Updated versions of Peach’s Birthday Cake and Space Land were being showcased during the event.

The game will also play host to over 100 minigames from throughout Mario Party history — all of them now updated for Nintendo Switch.

If you haven’t got anyone to play with at home, Mario Party Superstars does have an online mode as well as local multiplayer, and Nintendo also confirmed that both button and motion controls would be available to players in all games.
