Double Fine Productions has announced Rad — a brand new, ridiculous-looking, isometric action roguelike game for Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

Announced during Nintendo’s Nindies Showcase on Wednesday, Rad is a post-apocalypse like we’ve never seen before. Created by Lee Petty — project lead on previous quirky Double Fine games Headlander and Stacking — Rad comes complete with gnarly-looking art style and synth-heavy soundtrack, to complete its 90s motif.

The short trailer (below) gave us a quick glimpse at a very different world. We see our hero navigating a very 90s post-apocalypse, mutating along the way. How things like a snake head and an egg-laying rear appendage will help us in our quest, we’ll find out later this year.

Published by Namco Bandai, Rad will release in 2019. Check back with Jump Dash Roll for more Rad news!
