Bedtime Digital Games Announces Release Date for Dreamy Puzzler, Figment

September 1, 2017

Excitement is stirring in the land of indie games at the moment as one of the most stunning games to appear on the circuit in recent years finally has a release date! Denmark-based developers Bedtime Digital Games announced yesterday that its latest puzzler, Figment, will be hitting Steam and on September 22nd, 2017 and will be available on PC, Mac, and Linux with console releases following.

Check out the Launch trailer below:

Figment takes a surreal look at the concepts of dreams and how the mind reacts to them as well as how it preserves memories. Through a whimsical cartoon-like art style, you will come across some all too familiar dream themes (like that one where all your teeth are falling out?) and see how they have been turned into weapons against the mind. Lots in the land of Figment are linked to something from the human mind. Whether it is childhood memories, psychological urges or deeps thoughts all of it comes together to create a landscape is a bit wild and a bit quirky and interesting gameplay.

Players must take control of the minds former voice of courage, a grumpy being called Dusty. Who, accompanied by the ever-optimistic Piper, he must venture through the mind to combat the rising nightmares to restore the minds former light. You will come across many puzzles to complete which will help to make things better again.

Does this sound like your kind of thing? Well, make sure you add Figment to your Steam wishlist! If you are planning on heading to EGX in Birmingham on September 21st – 24th, you will be able to play the Figment demo for yourselves. Let us know what you think!

Wastelands' thrilling finale means it's a step up from Rules, but it makes a few missteps in its handling of the brothers’ relationship to get there.

It all began with the Atari ST. Then the first home PC. And the rest is history. Although a platformer and RPG lass at heart, I'm willing to give anything a go, and if a game looks quirky then you've got my attention!
