Horizon Forbidden West is Coming to PS5 in 2021

June 19, 2020

Horizon: Forbidden West is coming to PlayStation 5 in 2021, says game director Mathijs De Jonge. Such news shouldn’t come as a huge surprise, but it’s good to have some kind of confirmation.

A new ‘Guerilla Talks’ video about Forbidden West posted on Wednesday offered some additional details about the highly-anticipated PlayStation exclusive sequel. In particular, that the game will contain “virtually no loading”, thanks to the speed of the PS5’s SSD.

Horizon Forbidden West expands Aloy’s world even further and will see her encountering new tribes, new terrain and new machines. Guerilla announced the sequel to the hugely successful and critically acclaimed Horizon: Zero Dawn during the PlayStation 5 reveal event earlier this month.
