Fatal Frame: The Maiden of Black Water is getting a remaster. Previously only available on the WiiU, the reworked version of the survival horror game will be released later this year. The news comes from the E3 2021 Nintendo Direct on Tuesday.

Players will attempt to survive the terrors of Hiakami Mountain as three separate protagonists, encountering a myriad of terrifying and hostile supernatural beings throughout the game. These spirits can only be seen off by using the Camera Obscura, a special camera that links all of the five games in the series.

Originally released in 2014, the remastered version of the game also includes new costumes and photo modes as well as updated visuals. And, although it was announced during a Nintendo Direct, the game is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC.
