Devolver Digital has announced its ‘MaxPass+’ event for June 12th. Taking advantage of the bevvy of other press conferences and announcements starting this week, the indie publisher will kick off their showcase at 1:30pm PT / 9:30pm on the company’s Twitch channel.

The reigning industry champions when it comes to E3-adjacent antics, the MaxPass+ event is sure to be full of surprises — both in terms of games announced and other shenanigans. Although five new game reveals are promised from the likes of Flying Wild Hog, Galvanic Games and Doinksoft.

The press release also confirms that Phantom Abyss and Death’s Door will get release dates, which is lovely, isn't it?

A ‘Prologue’ for the event (below), which released on Wednesday, is predictably wild and confirmed the return of Devolver’s perennial E3 host Nina Struthers — I think she’s died in more than one of these presentations before:

Anyway, I tried my best to summarise Devolver’s announcement, but here it is in all of it’s ridiculous glory:

Devolver Digital’s irrepressible marketing division will unveil the fruits of its latest murderboarding session live on Twitch this Saturday, June 12 at 1:30pm PST.
The company’s bold new vision for monetization as a service promises five new game reveals from developers including Flying Wild Hog, Galvanic Games, and Doinksoft as well as release date announcements for Phantom Abyss and Death's Door.
In advance of this momentous occasion for video games PR, documentary filmmakers reveal the moment Devolver Digital’s crack team of hype commandos launched the idea grenade that will explode into reality this weekend.

We’ll see them on Saturday, I suppose.
