E3 2019: The Witcher 3: Complete Edition Coming to Switch in 2019

June 12, 2019

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition is coming to Nintendo Switch in 2019. Announced via a short trailer during the E3 2019 Nintendo Direct, Geralt of Rivia will make his Nintendo debut some time this year. Wait… does this make him The Switcher?

Bad jokes that everyone else has made aside, The Witcher 3 coming to Nintendo’s handheld / console hybrid raises a number of questions. How will it run? Has CD Projekt RED changed anything for this release? How will we find the time to play it?

This being the Complete Edition, the Switch version of The Witcher 3 will also contain the game’s two major expansions — Heart of Stone and Blood and Wine — as well as sixteen additional DLC packs that were released for free on the other consoles. That’s a lot of game.

To see more surprises from the E3 2019 Nintendo Direct, watch the whole thing over on Nintendo’s YouTube channel.
