The official Xbox Twitter account revealed that the Xbox Series S will have a retailer price of £249/$299 this morning.

The tweet also said that the upcoming console, which is slated to release during the holiday season this year, would be the smallest Xbox ever: 60% smaller than the Series X.

Microsoft concluded the tweet by saying that they would be sharing more information “soon”.

However, a new leak offered more details on the smaller Xbox Series S. The leaked promo video from WalkingCat claims that the console will offer 120fps gaming at up to 1440p resolution, as well as 512GB of storage. It claims the console will also include support for ray tracing, variable rate shading, and variable refresh rate. Additionally, it may include support for 4K media streaming and 4K upscaling for games.

Though only the price has been confirmed, several outlets including the Verge and Windows Central have reported the details - stay tuned to Jump Dash Roll for more information as it becomes available!

Somebody once told me the world was going to roll me, and they were right. I love games that let me take good-looking screenshots and ones that make me depressed, so long as the game doesn't overstay its welcome.
