UK-based publishers Wired Productions, together with Bulgarian developers Haemimont Games and the rock band Motörhead, today announced that the 2017 hit action-RPG Victor Vran: Overkill Edition will be getting launched on Nintendo Switch this summer. While the exact date is yet unknown, we do know that both physical and digital versions of the game will cost £34.99/€39.99/$39.99.

While a lot of interesting games have already come out on the Nintendo Switch, the developer and publisher are excited to bring something new to the console. Leo Zullo, Managing Director at Wired Productions said:

“Victor Vran: Overkill Edition will be the first game of its kind to arrive on the Nintendo Switch… a masterpiece both technically and in its gameplay, Haemimont Games’ classic RPG will be a must-have addition for Switch owners around the world.”

The Overkill Edition contains two new areas for the titular character to explore, although existing players will already be aware of them: The Fractured Worlds and Motörhead: Through the Ages. While The Fractured Worlds gives players the chance to explore new realms and harder dungeons already part of the Victor Vran world, the Motörhead content brings something new and unexplored to the game as you explore the band’s history and mythos surrounding their mascot, the mighty Snaggletooth. Through the Ages is accompanied by a great Motörhead soundtrack which ties the audio and visual together.

We will let you know as soon as a release date is revealed!

It all began with the Atari ST. Then the first home PC. And the rest is history. Although a platformer and RPG lass at heart, I'm willing to give anything a go, and if a game looks quirky then you've got my attention!
