Interior Night is a newly-founded developer comprised of individuals who have come from a variety of high quality studios such as Quantic Dream, Slightly Mad Studios and Sony. In fact, Interior Night is headed by Caroline Marchal, ex-Quantic Dream and lead designer on Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls.

Sega has partnered with Interior Night, according to GamesIndustry.biz, to develop new narrative-driven IP. John Clark, Executive Vice President of Publishing at Sega Europe said: "We're really looking forward to working with Interior Night as their combined talents and imaginations evolve into a really strong narrative driven gaming experience."

This can only be good news for fans of narrative-driven gaming as today such titles are too few and far between, and typically from the same small group of creatives (mainly David Cage's Quantic Dream!).

I've been gaming for 35+ years on the Commodore VIC-20 to the PlayStation 5 and pretty much everything in-between. I enjoy all kinds of games but if I had to pick a couple in particular, I'd say I adore Mario and love Dark Souls. I can talk about either an awful lot should you want to!
