Publisher and accessory developer NACON has announced a new addition to its Pro line of videogame controllers. The Revolution 5 Pro is compatible with PS5, PS4 and PC, and is the result of a years-long deep dive into ergonomics research for gaming.

This new model in the Revolution line is the culmination of years of development and NACON's passion for gaming. We wanted to create the best controller possible, a controller that would give gamers the upper hand. The Revolution 5 Pro combines the best of our expertise, technological innovation and ergonomics." - Yannick Allaert, Head of Accessories Division, NACON.

The new officially licensed controller is not only fully customisable, but offers over 10 hours of gaming before it needs charging, as well as connecting to wired headsets via a 3.5mm jack and wireless headsets via Bluetooth.

Hall Effect technology means that the controller has incredible precision, while it's also environmentally responsible since its modular nature means key components can be replaced and repaired - but the controller's long service life means this is unlikely to be needed.

The Revolution 5 Pro is due to be released in December 2023 in leading US retailers, with pre orders at Game Stop and Best Buy starting in November.

I've been gaming since the days of the Amstrad. Huge RPG fan. Planescape: Torment tops my list, but if a game tells a good story, I'm interested. Absolutely not a fanboy of any specific console or PC - the proof is in the gaming pudding. Also, I like cake.
