Deep Silver and 4A Games have released a new gameplay video for Metro Exodus aimed at welcoming newcomers to the franchise -- and it looks absolutely gorgeous.

Substituting the claustrophobic darkness of its tunnels for the wide open expanses of a post-nuclear Russia, 4A Games is clearly not letting up on its themes of survival and horror. Make no mistake, the world is just as deadly even when you have natural light and open ground to guide you.

It's been 5 years since Metro Redux was released (A remastering of Last Light and 2033 onto current-gen technology), and by the looks of things that long period of time has been very, very, well spent. Metro Exodus is released on February 15th 2019 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

The Division 2 is a hefty step-up from its predecessor, with a massive amount of content to keep you engaged for weeks. Massive has created a truly engaging shared world game which remembers it's the players, and not the shareholders, that come first and foremost.

You can usually find me scrabbling in the low Golds of Competitive Overwatch (the fact that I'm a Roadhog main this season is a coincidence), or shouting to any poor soul within earshot how amazing Dungeons & Dragons is (it is).
