Midwinter Update has been announced by CD PROJEKT RED, the developers of The Witcher series.

Adding over 100 cards to GWENT: The Witcher Card Game, many of which have new abilities and gameplay mechanics, Midwinter Update is likely to cause a stir among players. Alongside the deck additions, the update includes the story-driven Midwinter Hunt which stars lead character Geralt of Rivia, and will test players’ skills while offering aesthetic goodies in return.

Midwinter is coming.

‍Further updates include a daily quest system, revamped deck builder and card replacement screen and improved visuals. A full list of new features and tweaks found in the Midwinter Update is available here.

GWENT: The Witcher Card Game was launched in closed beta in October 2016, before moving to public beta in May 2017. A full release is expected in 2018.

The Midwinter Update is available for download now on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
