Battlefield 2042 got its gameplay debut during the Xbox + Bethesda presentation at E3 2021. The massive multiplayer only title takes the Battlefield franchise back to its roots but the huge player count and map-altering events makes it look more chaotic than ever.
As detailed during the game’s official reveal earlier this month, Battlefield 2042 is a near-future military shooter with a 128 player count (64 on last-gen consoles), massive maps and a tendency for things to alter dramatically.
