The Division 2 got a healthy showing during Ubisoft’s E3 2019 press conference. Three separate episodic expansions were detailed, all of which take place outside of the game’s central D.C. hub.

Episode 1 sees players hunting for President Ellis and the leader of The Outcasts in the D.C. National Zoo. The Division 2 has taken players to a number of varied locales in the base game, and a zoo should certainly make things very interesting. This first expansion will also introduce new ‘Expeditions’ — a series of cooperative challenges as players progress through Trinity College. Episode 1 is set for release in July.

Episode 2 will launch in ‘Fall 2019’ and takes The Division to The Pentagon, for a trio of new missions which will see players attempting to stop The Black Tusk from discovering and leaking classified information. Episode 2 will also introduce a brand new raid, where teams of eight will take on the True Sons.

Episode 3 is removed from the D.C. area entirely, with a trip to Coney Island, New York on the cards for Division operatives as they embark on a manhunt for rogue agent Aaron Keener. Whether C.I. — the big Coney — will be the only New York location is yet to be seen. Episode 3 launches in early 2020.

The Division 2 is out now for PS4, Xbox One and PC via the Epic Games Store. You can watch the full expansion trailer below.
