The developer and publisher of upcoming action adventure horror game The Sinking City today announced that they were pushing back the game's release date. BIGBEN and Frogwares released a new video announcement explaining that the game will no longer launch on March 21st.

In order to avoid a packed release schedule and to add a few more months of polish to the game, it will now instead launch for PS4, PC and Xbox One on June 27th, 2019. While fans may be disappointed by the move, we're sure that they would prefer to experience the game in its best possible state. Too often, a rigid release date has meant games come out with numerous bugs or worse, half the planned content missing.

We're still super excited to play The Sinking City, and it will give us something to look forward to during an historically barren time of the year.

I've been gaming since the days of the Amstrad. Huge RPG fan. Planescape: Torment tops my list, but if a game tells a good story, I'm interested. Absolutely not a fanboy of any specific console or PC - the proof is in the gaming pudding. Also, I like cake.
