During the PlayStation Showcase event on Thursday, there was a lot of exciting news, including a trailer for a new God of War game and the announcement of a Knights of the Old Republic remake, but the bit PC gamers will likely be most excited about is that Uncharted 4 and its slightly less interesting sequel The Lost Legacy will be releasing on PC in early 2022.

The announcement isn’t completely coming out of the blue. Back in May, a presentation for Sony investors revealed that Uncharted and Days Gone would be coming to PC at some point.

But with today’s news, we now know that “some point” is less than a year away, and according to the PlayStation Blog, the PC version of the PlayStation classic is being developed by Iron Galaxy Studios, the company responsible for porting Diablo 3 and Overwatch to Switch.

The blog states that the PC version of the game will release shortly after the PlayStation 5 version of the game (which is also coming in 2022), although there’s no definitive release date for that version of the game either.

As someone who bought a PS4 last year almost explicitly to play Uncharted, this is huge news, so when more news becomes available about the port, you can be sure to read about it here on Jump Dash Roll!

Somebody once told me the world was going to roll me, and they were right. I love games that let me take good-looking screenshots and ones that make me depressed, so long as the game doesn't overstay its welcome.
